The information below is intended as an overview, not an all-inclusive review of our current policies & procedures.  Please contact our Restaurant and Catering Manager, Joel Blackburne at jblackburne@castlecooke.com  for answers to any specific questions. 

 

Forty Six Dining Rooms

 

“XY” SPECIAL EVENTS ROOM

XY, our semi-private dining room accommodates parties up to 90 guests for an

hors d'oeuvre event and up to 70 guests for plated dinners

or buffet meal service. Depending on table configuration, we may be able to accommodate more guests.

Many seating arrangements can be configured in this spacious room,

making it as cozy or open as you would like.  Please be aware that the room,

while set apart from the main dining area, is NOT completely private,

as the restroom access for our main dining room is at one end.  

 

"XX" MAIN DINING ROOM

"XX", our main dining room, accommodates parties up to 80 guests for an hors d'oevure event

and up to 70 guests for plated or buffet meal service. 

"XX" is only available on Sunday through Wednesday nights and Saturday

during the day, when we are not normally open for our regular service. 

Utilized in conjunction with "XY", we can accommodate a party of up to 160 guests. 

 

MENU OPTIONS

Hors d'oeuvres, Plated, Buffet or Action Stations are easily managed. 

 

For parties of up to 15:

You may order from our regular Dinner or Lunch Menus.

Events of this size must be reserved through our

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
All alcoholic beverages must be purchased from Forty Six.  No outside alcoholic beverages (whether intended to be consumed or not) are allowed to be brought into our establishment.  In accordance with the State Division of Alcoholic Beverages, we require proper identification of all patrons ordering/consuming alcohol. 


LINENS AND PLACE SETTINGS
 We supply our Forty Six monogrammed placemats and black napkins at no additional cost. 

If you would prefer linens or different colored napkins, please let us know

and we will happily explain your options and pricing.

 

RENTALS
Additional charges will apply if the customer has requested

services which require rental equipment. 

 

A/V RENTALS

Forty Six does not supply A/V equipment for private events. We will gladly recommend rental companies if needed.

A/V equipment may be dropped off or delivered prior to the event with manager's approval.
 

DECORATIONS

Forty Six will provide our standard glass beakers with a single seasonal flower for events.  All other decorations should be provided by the customer. Please do not bring decorations that require nails, tacks or glue.  We can happily make the space available to your group early to decorate for your event, providing the room is not booked for other purposes.  We highly recommend Chelish Moore Flowers for your floral arrangements as well as table and room decorations.  www.chelishmoore.com


SPECIALTY CAKES

Forty Six does not provide cakes for special occasions, however we highly recommend

Sweet Pickle Bakery here in Kannapolis.

EVENT CONFIRMATION
Final menu must be confirmed 7 days prior to event. Any menu changes after this point, or failure to confirm will result in a 25% upcharge. Final numbers must be confirmed 3 business days before the date of your event.  If your final headcount exceeds expectations, we will accommodate to the best of our ability. Should numbers be lower than expected, we will charge based on your 7 day confirmation.
 

DEPOSITS & BILLING
A deposit of $250.00 is required to confirm your event date. 

We will however, "hold" a date, contacting you if we receive another inquiry

and will give you an opportunity to make a deposit to secure the date,

subject to the discretion of the Director of Food & Beverage.

 

North Carolina Sales Tax of 7% is added to all charges.

Gratuity of 20% is added to all charges.  

 

CANCELLATIONS
Scheduled events may be cancelled up to 7 days before the event with full refund of the deposit.
